I thought you were a vegetarian because you hated vegetables. Occasionally, I’ll see “sustainably raised” and “humanely treated” and I’ll ask the butcher, “So they don’t kill this cow? They just sedate it and remove the steaks then let it get back to free rangin’?”

Actually it wakes up lying in a bathtub full of ice with its liver and kidneys missing along with an apologetic note that it is now making some onions very happy.
