Youtube seems to be dropping videos at the drop of a hat, without really investigating. Also any single “inappropriate” report and they yank any monetized ads, even if the video is innocuous.

This is pretty much Google’s response to the DMCA. They would rather pull something in response to an invalid DMCA claim than be held liable for copyright infringement for delaying while demanding proof of copyright ownership.
