Sorry, but Sheehag used her hero son..may he rest in peace, who enlisted to get away from her evil. Would any mother ever do this if it was not for her need for celebrity? She is the ultimate bitch.

I’ve always thought that Sheehan was using her celebrity and anti-war stance to avoid grieving in the first place. It’s a fairly common illness; nearly everyone goes through a period of denial when they lose someone. It becomes pathological, however, when you can’t proceed through this and other stages of grieving. It holds resolution in abeyance.

I agree with IceWeasel that Sheehan was abused by the Left, who abetted and even encouraged this suspension of progress to further their own political ends, then all but abandoned her when she was no longer useful to them.

At this point, Sheehan will need a vast amount of time and counseling before she’s able to come to grips with her loss, if it’s even possible for her to do so. Early on, it would have been easier. Now, she’s entrenched herself, and she knows full well that any attempt to move away from her present position will open her up to that searing emotional pain she’s avoided so far. It only gets harder the more time passes.

I’m not agreeing with any of her positions, mind you. Just pointing out that she’s using them as a defense against more trauma.
