It really was. I was thinking it was probably a Saturday when we usually went shopping, but it wasn’t the Arab market in Jerusalem. Maybe it was Jaffa. Tel Aviv is a bit too metropolitan even then for that, ya think?

I don’t think any arab would dare to intimidate you in Tel Aviv in the late 70’s.
