It took me five years to quit, but it’s still the best thing I’ve ever done. Now I’m back in shape, and feel great.

Congrats! I’ve quit before and then started back up again, always telling myself that it’ll just be one, and then I’m right back where I started. I’ve got a 5 and 7-year-old and one of these days, they’d figure out what mommy and daddy are doing when they go outside for a minute. I don’t want them to grow up thinking smoking is okay, plus I’d like to be around for them when they graduate. My mom died two years ago of lung cancer from smoking. She was 62. My youngest will be 21 when I’m 62. I don’t want her to have to deal with losing her mother at a young age.
