I’m in Bakersfield, Ca. so should be clear skies and good seeing. You’ve got some monster binocs and I’m thinking of getting the same although I was thinking 11/80’s but what the hell, 20’s would be better. I already have the tri-pod to mount them. Bakersfield is relatively low light but that unfortunate
light mass known as L.A. might be a problem. I’m hoping for good naked eye and my 7/50’s might be good . If not, I’ll go go for the 80 mm.

Bought them (Celestron brand) from Amazon, for just over $100. The downside is that their QC is rudimentary, and many ship out of collimation. The up-downside is that they are easy to collimate with a little patience and Internet resources. My backups are a pair of 65 yr old war surplus 7x50s.
