As strange as it is these facts are not mutually exclusive. If you waved a magic wand and took all the NRA trainers out of the picture, there would be a larger safety problem until the vacuum was filled by others. I think understanding the difference between the NRA safety programs and classes and it’s ILA is simply to understand the reality on the ground. This is not a defense of the NRA political or lobbying side. It’s just having seen the impact of the well funded safety classes and programs.
