The best tattoo I ever saw was on a bartender; it was a panther with his haunches on her shoulder, his body stretched down his upper arm, face and whiskers just above the elbow, front legs extended with paws wrapped around her wrists. The panther’s tail hung down her back, with the last bit of it curled up where a tramp stamp would be.

All black except the eyes. Multiple shades of black. Astonishing detail and contour for being all one color.

There is a movie with Jennifer Aniston (can’t remember the title, it was a comedy about a bounty hunter co-starring that guy from 300) where she goes into a tattoo parlor and asks for exactly that same thing. I wonder if she, or the screen writer saw that bartender’s ink.
