Did I read this right? He got visited by Police and thus ageed to delete the old version of his blog? Why did he delete it? What was in it that he felt he was liable for? Why did he capitulate? If a university has a policy of not allowing their computers to be used for personal stuff, can the police be called to enforce it? If so, can somebody outside the university call the police and report him on this? Doesn’t the university have to be the one with the issue with this? Doesn’t he get due process? What would have happened to him had he not agreed to delete it? Lots of questions, not enough info.
