One of the benefits on being a real independent is I don’t really care which party is in power or if the candidates are crazy or not. I also don’t have to defend policies that I know suck ass. I get to vote based on which party is screwing up more at the present moment.

My local rep is a good man and I trust that he’ll vote to do what is best for our district even if I don’t necessarily agree with him. I’ve voted for him every election since 2001 and he’ll get my vote again this year. His opponent is pouring money into ads so he’s going to need as much help as he can get.
