my maternal grandparents were big GOP dogs in Michigan…they knew the Romney’s very well…my mom’s cousin Jack ran for governor of Wisconsin and lost but his buddy Gerry Ford gave him the ambassadorship to the Bahamas and some other titles…useless factoids…I never met any of those guys but I did hobnob with Bart Star one time at my aunts house
