And the Muslim Brotherhood can’t go much more conservative without losing a huge chunk of the younger members. Not only that, but it looks like the MB will have to do coalition with at least one liberal-ish party.

And my opinions of the Salafis is borne out by history. The Sack of Karbala, the Siege of Najaf, the massive bloodbath the Taliban did, the destruction of history. There is no good to be found in Salafism.

Hence, why it must be crushed in a repeat of the Ottoman-Saudi War. Trying to discredit the ideology won’t be enough. Saudi Arabia must be pulled apart so the funding for this radicalism will stop, and things can begin to be mended. Mahmud II had the right idea in dealing with radicals.
