We have a proper Italian ice cream parlor in our town run by a proper Italian. My kids grew up spoiled. I was with my daughter in the UK and we stopped at a beach side kiosk for ice cream. SHe took one taste and handed it back to me.

And she was right, the strawberry flavoring in it was clearly and chemically artificial, it tasted like Pepto-Bismol.

I love this Mom & Pop gelato shop. They’re always experimenting with new flavors.
