I don’t want to sound too anti-Texas either. I’m sure its a lovely spot. But I just disagree with some of the basic philosophies, like the castle doctrine and its use of the death penalty. But Texans seem for the most part happy with the way it is, so who am I to argue about how they should run their(your) state?

I love the Florida castle law, warts and all. Beats having to sit back and meditate on exactly how much force is too much if some bastard breaks into my house…
