I do give Cain the benefit of the doubt. I don’t consider him guilty of sexual harassment. There is no point at which I have said that he was.

I do think that he’s said a lot of inconsistent things about what happened, and for that, I’m free to criticize him.

Have you ever had to remember details of an event 10 or more years ago? He uses words like “My recollection later”, and ” I didn’t think there was a legal settlement”. Seems very innocent and very human.
