Not necessarily. The rain will slow down the greens so you can get aggressive with your putts, and the air will be heavier so the ball spin will bite more and you will controll it better.

I’ve had some of my all time best rounds in a light rain. I love to play in a light rain.

btw, nice evaluation of Tiger…I said last year that with all his extra weight and bad leg I was very doubtful he’d come roaring back….in fact he may be done in terms of invincibility….golf swings are a delicate thing and I just don’t see him tinkering himself back into total dominance again
