There was no info on the people Netanyahu was talking to (I assumed they were friends/family members. Levy is described in WaPo as a “a left-leaning columnist for Haaretz newspaper”. What’s a “post Zionist” Israeli, anyway? I don’t know much about politics in Israel, but I assume Israeli citizens are in favor of the self-determination of Israel.

A “post Zionist” is a Jew or Israeli who is ambivalent about Israel’s continued right to exist as a Jewish state, who recommends alternatives such as a “one state solution” where Israel is swamped by an influx of millions of “returning Palestinians” who change the character of the state from a state of refuge for Jews, to an Islamic majority state where Jews are barely tolerated as a minority.
