That sucks, I’m sorry. I grew up out here in the wilds of eastern WA state and farts were considered high entertainment or frogs, bull snakes into sleeping bags.

Thanks. I haven’t even thought about this for a decade or so, but it’s all coming back tonight. I loved the campfires and learning Morse code and stuff. It was the other kids that spoiled it for me. And in those days one would have died before saying anything to the adults in charge, plus the little perverts would just have denied it.

Note that nothing ever happened - it was all talk. But there was a lot of it, and as a rather timid kid to begin with, it sickened me.
