What the Israeli left needs is to force an outright loss - total seats for Zionist Union v. Likud, plus more seats than any coalition Likud could form.

The problem is that the parties remaining aren’t likely to form a government with the others included in the coalition unless there are massive concessions or some serious cognitive dissonance.

What happens if a coalition doesn’t form? Netanyahu stays in power and they have another round of elections in a couple months?
