Italy has a lot of old people - a point pundits are making to explain the number of deaths there - but another statistic about Italy is the stress that nation has been under in dealing with its economy. While it may not be as “socialist” as the northern countries, the health care system in Italy is available to all, AFAIK. Yet I wonder how well their hospitals and doctors have been prepared, now for years, with the economic challenges that Italy has had.
