Yep. It’s funny to me to think that twelve years ago I considered the Democrats as the anti-science party, given that they had members speaking out against genetically-engineered anything, used scare tactics to oppose green energy projects and research, and claimed that video games made you kill people.

I know that there were anti-science things at work on the GOP side of things at that time too, but they weren’t as prevlant, to me, as the Democrat’s version.

Then the GOP just picked up that anti-science banner and shouted “Chaaaaarge!” and showed the Dems how you really go anti-science.
