I tell you what, it’s a fine day to be alive, and Guadalupe County just keeps getting better.
Wonderful thing around here - although all Texans do it, so far as I can tell - is you’ll see these large perfetly manicured lawns and such, with a few patches where the crews have mowed around the bluebonnets, indian paint-brushes, and similar wild-flowers that have sprung up. It’s charming, really, to see this much care for what is, after all, only a weed.
I understand completely. If i try to grow something, it’s sure to die…which means i get the best flowers in an area i tend to the least. It makes for arguments with my other half, who deems them weeds due to their placement rather than their appearance…
