Well, I do have a nephew* who believes that rich business owners will hire people to make more stuff even if no one is buying it because when people see all this stuff that they want, they will then go out and get more jobs (or work longer hours) to earn more money so they can buy the stuff.
*He’s old enough to know better, too.

I’d like to think that most economists would tell you that there’s no such thing as a greed-based economy.
