You know, I know you lean libertarian and I’ve gotten a couple libertarian buds to admit they’re sympathetic to that and they definitely agreed they’d rather the government spend more on social programs than the military. My belief is this. I believe the government since it is we the people should be investing in we the people and that means things like education, infrastructure, health care, and yes making sure people don’t go hungry. Massie is a Paul style wackjob that has his head up Von Mises’ Institute’s ass and doesn’t realize that economics is about living and breathing people.

“things like education, infrastructure, health care, and yes making sure people don’t go hungry” may seem expensive considered in isolation, but they’re a whole lot cheaper than the amount of police and prisons that’s needed in countries that don’t do that.
