If we find some experiment that on the surface seems to disagree with the word of God, we go with the word of God. That’s the money quote for me.

That’s not just bad science, it’s also bad theology.

Maimonodes told us a thousand years ago, if actual evidence in the real world contradicts what you thought the scripture says, if it contradicts what you thought was the word of God… then the scripture doesn’t actually say what you thought it said. You’re reading it wrong.
