It almost certainly wasn’t the result of Brown punching Wilson, because the Baden autopsy found no evidence of a struggle.

In the press conference where Chief Jackson said that the officer’s face was swollen, he didn’t even know which side of the face. Apparently the swelling was not memorable enough to make an impression on the chief.

I know, because I watched the press conference and paid attention.
