Oh, and Ben Shapiro and others are claiming that the Logan Act doesn’t matter and that they should use this as an opportunity to test it and find it unlawful/unconstitutional - even as the same right wing nuts were demanding heads and prosecutions when Democrats like Tulsi Gabbard met with Assad (and yeah, that too is a Logan Act violation that should have been prosecuted).

That’s their guiding principle. And when Democrats do what the GOP is doing, demand scalps.

The Logan Act is hands down the weakest and hardest to prosecute of the violations at play here. Fortunately the plethora of campaign finance violations, tax fraud, perjury, FARA & ongoing CFAA conspiracy should easily add up to a RICO indictment of the entire campaign. Trump ran a corrupt criminal enterprise in league with a foreign adversary designed from its inception to subvert and defraud the United States.
