306 EV. Biden crushed Trump. Beat him by more than 5 million votes and by the same margin as Trump won in 2016 in the EC even when Trump lost by nearly 3 million votes in 2016.

Biden has a mandate. Biden is inheriting a shitshow of epic proportions because Trump wrecked the economy and squandered time to prepare for the second wave. He never bothered to deal with the first, meaning that it never ended in some places.

Biden’s communicating like he has a mandate too. And he certainly does. I know we might expect the midterms to favor the R’s this time but if Mitch’s blocking proposals constantly, Biden can and should use him as political enemy number one to get out the base.
