As someone whose parents fled the Marcos regime, I am….reasonably concerned about this development. Moreso after Duterte’s regime already featured a good bit of Marcos nostalgia behind it.

I made a comment earlier about Marcos possibly being worse than Trump. If his name is being thrown about in the same conversation as Duterte, I retract my statement as being ill-advised and uninformed.
