Yes really. He is the sitting governor who is behind in the polls to a more conservative opponent in the Republican primary. Nevertheless he is popular with the overall electorate and he is a kind of moderate. The Dems may welcome him because otherwise they will lose the seat—with Meeks running. I’d like to see some polling.
