What is this thing ‘pet’. My Israeli neighbors asked me if I would let the large family dog in our bomb shelter during one of Saddam’s spasms.

Answer: “Last ditch protein.”

Trust me. If it came down to it, the question wouldn’t be if needed, the question would be “Who’s bringing the beer”.
