Well it does seem rather strange that in a discussion, one can’t limit the scope if only for a minute. Because the incident was clearly an accident, it seems entirely fair to look at accident rates a second. So what I cited has two flaws-Source (all footnoted) and scope.
Sorry, I find it fair to cite accident rates when discussing an accident.

It’s not a fair discussion when accurate if narrowly focused data is unwelcome. Nothing in that report denies the issues about guns we do have. Nor do I.
