You’re already seeing it in Wisconsin, as the “small government” veneer washes away to reveal the socon Tea Partiers underneath. Problem is, things aren’t improving fast enough or touching enough lives to do more than stabilize Obama’s approval numbers right now. If the economy takes a nose dive or things overseas go from bad to worse, the GOP might start gaining ground.
