I would think holding a dem president to the same standards he expected out of a repub president should be a pretty big clue that he believes in the views he’s expressing

I’d rather deal with someone who is a “true believer” than someone who switches his views based on which party holds the political power.
Which also depends on you being psychic, too.
You see, I kinda do believe that Santorum really does hate gay people as much as he says he does. I think he probably is a true believer; it’d be hard to keep up an act that vociferous. And I’d rather deal with any standard lame-brain politician than his hateful, terrible ass, no matter how consistent he is in those awful fucking beliefs.
I have no idea why blind faith to a principle is somehow better to you than blind faith to a party.
