O’Malley also hated staying in Flatbush because the people there were growing more black and Hispanic and whites were moving to the suburbs. Really is too bad that the Dodgers left Ebbets and Brooklyn. Seeing a game there would have been awesome. My favorite old time stadium is the Polo Grounds though. Those dimensions, wowie.

I’m not going to lie, if I ever had access to time travel, I would probably use it to travel back and watch (bet) on old sporting events and/or concerts (would love to have been able to see The Doors on the Sunset Strip or Janis Joplin in San Francisco)
