Young Conservatives are the saddest Conservatives because they’ve been left behind by a world they can’t understand while they’re still young, instead of it being something that happens to old people who failed to improve with the rest of us. They were born already outmoded, and incapable of even interacting with their own generation.

That’s something I’ve always noticed, going all the way back to when I was young enough to be in a young conservative/GOP group. There was always something off-putting about a bunch of (usually white) guys running around espousing their grandparents’ political views.
