There is also the matter of regulation of safety. You can buy your drugs overseas, but you have next to zero guarantee of what’s actually in them.

We regulate drugs for the same reasons we regulate food, to protect the health and safety of the population. I don’t want to lose that protection in the name of letting the free market work. The free market has a piss poor record of ensuring product safety without having its feet held to the fire.
