I propose we have one day (could be two) dedicated for primary elections in this country. Could be one for each major party. And be done with it. This election process has gotten ridiculous. It started in early 2011 and goes well into 2012. Two years of non-stop politicking. In the end all we get is two years of leadership and two years of flapping the gums.

Agree. I’m ok with 6 months, but seriously there should be a law, though I doubt it will happen. Too much money to be earned.
