Don’t know if any of you have seen this… purportedly a reporter was allowed in the exclusion zone around Fukushima last weekend, filmed some of his wanderings including a dosimeter - dogs are left to their own, and the cattle seem a bit bewildered:

[Video]He gets to within 1.5 kilometers of Fuk-1 (the video shows Fuk-2 early on) near the end, where the radiation level is enough to get roughly a year’s average exposure in just a day - and that is with him upwind (he’s traveling by the coast and you can hear the sea breeze blowing in.)

So, the Fallout series, along with STALKER, accurately predicted the near-term future?
