The question isn’t whether the GOP will rip itself part with the crazy - bigotry, nativism, xenophobia, racism, Islamophobia, but how everyone else can contain the crazy to keep it from doing permanent damage to the nation.

And the single best way is to vote. Treat every last election as one of major importance.

It’s not just another school board vote. It’s a vote that has consequences for years to come as where do you think most politicians start? Local elections. Every one of those local elections has lasting consequences.

Treat them accordingly.
