As a former retailer, let me tell you just HOW the clock tics towards the biggest spending of the season. “Black Friday” the Friday after Thanksgiving, used to be when the retailers started to make money for the year. Yes, they ran in the red for 11 months. If you had a good December, you had a good year & vice versa.

(I don’t miss that treadmill a BIT!)
