Interesting how many times it comes to pass that when someone emphatically tells you what the Bible says, what he says it says is not what it says.

The Genesis story (if he’s talking about in the beginning, which I guess he is) does not say God created marriage. He gave Eve to Adam as his mate, not his wife. The rest is cultural embrocade.
