Well, since we’re doing comical looking critters, I would compare Bruning to an organ grinder’s monkey. Just as the unfortunate monkey is dressed as a hotel bellboy, Bruning becomes a self-abasing parody of a public official. He then performs as cued by his masters, the right-wing media, all for the amusement of brutish passersby and the enrichment of the grinders and their bosses, the corporate overlords.
