According to The Olds (Fox News demographic), “everybody” is on welfare, and that is the problem with this country. Nobody (that would be everybody) works, nobody values work, and they are being rewarded for sitting on their asses, making babies, so they can enjoy a lifetime of welfare. The Olds speculate Everybody (on welfare) sell their food stamps to buy designer sneakers, which they kill each other over, because that’s (black sports heroes) the only thing they care about.

According to The Olds, the cure for this would be vote GOP, because they know how to put America to work, will abolish regulations that kill jobs, and won’t promote a welfare state like Obama, who hates this country, hates America, and hates what America stands for. This is why it’s so important to extend tax cuts for the job creators.

Getting back to religion wouldn’t hurt, either. Oh, sure, the religious right is in an uproar right now, but they’d settle right down once they had power again. [again?] Besides, I’m past child bearing age, so all this women’s rights and abortion stuff really doesn’t apply to me. //

I had this conversation. But more importantly, I see how the message of the socons like Santorum and his ilk resonates with people who believe this. And they truly believe this, like accepting gravity as fact.
