Brazil was the final straw for me. A country lacking basic social services investing millions to build stadiums and facilities that are now standing empty.

I’ve been wondering if perhaps the IOC, should setup a permanent facility in Greece, funded by all IOC participants, rather than putting the burden solely on Greece, to avoid this kind of nonsense in the future. Especially since it seems like every place that has hosted games post LA 1984 has been an economic and environmental disaster for them.
