Just say you’ll take them for regular vaccinations and an annual checkup. I know that going to the vet is basically a $200 minimum these days (Though Eartha’s mani-pedi is about $24)…but anything requiring seeing the doctor is a couple hundred bucks. Hell the dog’s flea/tick/dewormer pills are 60 bucks a month.

This week I dropped nearly $600 getting two dogs teeth cleaned. Their breath is a lot nicer though.
