No… I don’t see his mistaken use of that word as an outrage… and he apologized… I’ve used that word, wrongly or rightly here, and corrected my self if someone pointed out to me that my usage was faulty… sorry… he’s a fucking reporter, he can have varying opinions, he doesn’t have to be partisan… and he can be wrong… in my opinion this doesn’t undermine his ability to report an issue.

I take no issue with any of that.

WAPO did and I can understand why. For better or worse, playing the race card, gay card, etc., is a dangerous game- one that WAPO clearly didn’t want to play.

As to his capacity for impartiality, that merits debate given his remarks.
