I don’t think of it as “fucking things up”. The bill that passed is bad, it needs to be majorly altered.

maybe if the republicans were willing to compromise then the bill wouldnt be so bad

if you’re a republican congressman and you’re going to refuse to negotiate in good faith with the other party, then you cant really complain about how bad the bill is when it finally passes
