One of the more curious things Romney said last night was that the revenue gap would be closed simply by having more people work. At relatively full employment during Bush the country was running $400 billion dollar deficits. Bzt!

Earlier in the day, some people including myself saw some figures on what he’d have to do to close the deficit with just new jobs.

If he gets his number of 12 million new jobs, those 12 million jobs would have to AVERAGE $433,333 a year.

If the jobs he creates have an average like the current jobs, he’d need to create something like 150 million new jobs.
