Actually, there is a LOT of “private money”. It’s just that most buig companies are sitting on it not knowing the true extent of what the tax rates are going to be, how much the health ins regs are really going to cost them, etc etc

But you knew that, didn’t you

Private money as in consumer money.

Consumers spur growth through their spending - companies can not impose demand on consumers if the consumer has nothing to spend. It’s a fairly basic economic concept.

Consumers have no extra cash - after paying - ironically enough - for their healthcare bills - etc.
